(Author) Berolina Super Pawn (BS): moves diagonally, captures straight ahead and promotes normally. May go as far as desired along the usual lines, provided that they are clear, e.g. white BSa2xa8=S or white BSc2-h7. Neutral piece (n): a unit with this characteristic may be regarded as of either colour by the side whose turn it is to play. Neutral pawns promote to neutral pieces. Locust-Bob (LBO): A piece combination of Locust and Bob which moves only to capture. It leaping over four pieces (hurdles) and lands on the next square, which must be empty. The hurdles disappear. Circe: Captured units (not Ks) reappear on their game-array squares, of the same colour (pieces), on the file of capture (pawns), or on the capture file’s promotion square (fairy pieces). If the rebirth square is occupied the capture is normal. |
