Ivan Paskalev
   paskalevIvan Paskalev was born on 21.11.1956 in the town of Chirpan, Bulgaria. Since 1963 lives and works in Stara Zagora. He graduated the Russian Language School "Maxim Gorky" in 1975.
           He began playing chess at the age of 5 and since 1983 participated in chess problems solving competitions and winning many first places in Bulgaria and abroad. Ivan began composing chess problems later, and so far has published over 150. He has won one Prize and numerous Honorable mentions and commendations.
           15 years he is a columnist in the "Telescope" newspaper, where has printed over 600 crosswords. Paskalev has published 9 books - poetry and prose, some of which are chess related.

Ivan Paskalev published a Fairy composition in Swedish magazine Springaren (#125). I need his address to send a copy!

In the Harold van der Heijden Endgame study database, there are studies of Paskalev,E. Could they be of Ivan Paskalev?
