The following problem is the most economical version of the Rope+Zilahi :
R.F.Zalokotskij and M.Kolesnik, Kudesnik 2009
4k3/4P3/4B3/1K1bS3/6s1/8/8/4R3 (5+3)
1.Sxe5, Bxd5 2.Sf7, Bc6# 1.Bxe6, Sxg4 2.Bf7, Sf6#
It is in the PDB without any label, of course there are other similar examples.
Rope+Zilahi+Chumakov+self -block of the same square by different black pieces. A pleasant one.
It won the first prize in the Best Problems IT 2006-2007 but the ranking has been changed after the rough forerunner(#15) was discovered. In any case it deserved the first prize, I think.
Also in my opinion any h#2 with cyclic Zilahi+"Stocchi blocks" ( no matter whether crude or refined) should be seen as anticipated by the Vitaly's version, and despite some additions as in the following:
RodolfoRiva - practice about the 4th Azemmour theme
K7/1p1r2p1/1P1ppp1s/3kS2s/2pP1P1P/1qp2SQ1/2P2P2/8 (10+12)
h#2 3 solutions
1.Qxc2, Sc6 2.Qe4, Sb4#
1.Sxg3, cxb3 2.Se4, bxc4#
1.dxe5, Qxg7 2.e4, Qxd7#
Take a look at this
Valery had sent me this version via e-mail on may 31 but he has refused to publish his work due to presence of my h#2 as a forerunner.
I have recently got his 'Ok' to publish this problem here in the comments.
A Letztform, I guess
By the way, the works in comments #5, #15 and #18 show also Balbo theme
So the discussion is more and more interesting. Waiting for the 4 solutions version by Abdelaziz (see #13), h#2.5 or more is the challenge but the FORMES IV, V, VI are not easy to achieve even in 2 moves.
