(24.07.2014) Here is the announcement of the 5th Bulgarian Wine Tourney - WCCC Bern 2014. It is for chess problems in 2 moves (#, H#, S#, HS#) with the fairy condition SneK Chess. To see the full announcement and examples CLICK HERE.
As a composer I don't like send any C- compositions to any competition, because I want to be sure that intended and only the intended solution works. I hope all participants good luck!
Of course Kenneth. But I believe if you try the condition will see that it is interesting. KoBul Kings also was without computer check in the beginning, but after that become very popular. SneK chess is very similar, but with options for more piece changes. Hope composers will like it.
I am wondering what is the rule for castling? Let's assume that wRh1 has been captured. Later on wB comes to this square. Black captures the other wR and this bishop on h1 becomes rook. Now this rook does not move at all. Is 0-0 correct move or not? In my opinion this should be a valid move since wR from h1 never moved but I wanted to confirm? I think this scenario should be added to the description of this new condition.
Till to now I have received 26 entries by 15 composers. Of course after the condition SneK Chess was included in WinChloe, the solving contest was canceled. The winner is Miodrag Mladenovich with 5 points, 2nd - Eric Huber (3 points) and 3rd - Bjorn Enemark (1 point).
