Problem 461: Valerio Agostini - Fairy (Symmetry Anti Circe)

agostini(09.11.2014) A new problem which is inspired by the Sebastien Luce's article about Symmetry Circe/ Anti Circe! This time it is a fairy helpmate with Symmetry Anti Circe by Valerio Agostini.

461.1

1.Bb4 Bd2 2.Kg5! Rg3 3.Kh4 Bxb4(wBg5)!#

1.Bc5 Bf4 2.Bxb6(bBg3) Rxg3(wRb6)+ 3.Kf5! c5#

Symmetry Anti Circe: The capturing unit goes to a square which is determined symmetrically by the central point of the chessboard allowing rebirths all around the board.

Nice idea. Isn't 2...Rxg3(wRb6) a check?

I like it, though the solutions show different strategy. There is nice contrast of capture of BB by different W pieces.
